In Bloom is a local, independent shop specialized in creating fresh, custom made floral arrangements in Ottawa and the surrounding area. My design contributions to the organization include branding, and the creation of their website.

Logo

The Inbloom logo was designed to meet the owners vision. She wanted a flowy written wordmark logo. The rose pictorial and tagline was added to give it more substance.

Typeface

Testitmoney was the typeface used to help create the Inbloom wordmark logo. The typeface Futura is used for the tagline.

Colours

The colour palette chosen was recommended by In Bloom. They wanted a Mossy Green combined with silver.

The In Bloom website was designed to help them attract more on-line customers. The previous website was outdated, not mobile friendly, hard to navigate, and not receiving many orders. The design plan was to create a fully functional updated website that users would find visually appealing, minimal design, and easy to navigate. The results In bloom has had with the new website has been astounding. On average they were receiving 5 on-line orders a month, and now, they are easily receiving that everyday!

The In Bloom website was developed using HTML, CSS, and Wordpress to allow the user to update the website with no design or coding experience.
